Children’s, Youth & Adult Theatre Institute

 


Since 1980, Black Spectrum Theatre has been an unrivaled showcase for rising young actors. Our prestigious company has trained over 3,000 students in our Children/Youth division and Summer Theatre camp programs for aspiring theater arts performers. Mentoring children, teens and adults in the arts is what Black Spectrum's Institute is all about. We're proud to say that training here at Black Spectrum is tantamount to the finest training in the world. Our participants have gone on to prestigious drama schools, have done professional theatre as well as professional television.

 

 

Theatre Training

 

 

Classes are held November through May
Cost: $750 for Children (ages 7-13) Saturdays 11:30 - 3:00pm
Cost: $750 for Youth (ages 14-19) Saturdays 11:30 - 3:00pm
Cost: $150 per Adult (ages 20 & Up - 8 week course) Evening Classes

Black Spectrum Theatre community education programs are committed to bringing theater to classrooms, and underserved community schools throughout the NYC area.

Ages: 6–13

 

Regular Hours: 9am – 4pm (Cost $1,298)

 

Extended Hours: 8am – 6pm (Cost $1,388)
