Mobile Stage – Summer Productions
The Black Spectrum Theatre's Mobile Stage serves to present outdoor venues to support community based festivals, block parties, parades, health fairs and sports activities for the community. Since 2000 Black Spectrum Theatre has service over 100,000 people in underserved communities throughout NYC. Groups can call on Black Spectrum and their trained staff to provide support services for the stage for out-door functions and in some case profitable for the non-profit agencies that use our services. Your Groups can call us and book up to a week or as early as 2 months before an event to reserve a stage. We serve a broad base of non-profits both in the arts, health, sciences, sports and information fields.

Spectrum Theatre on Wheels visit public and private community – based organizations in Queens and throughout the city to present shows for the general audience as well as provide cultural entertainment tailored for children, youth, the elderly, and other specific audiences.
We believe our Spectrum Theatre on Wheels program is an exciting new way to reach diverse audiences throughout the city and bring theatre and entertainment to underserved communities. We present programs every summer during July and August, for both children and adults. Spectrum Theatre on Wheels travels to communities all over the tri-state area. We operate on a sliding fee scale and like to work with groups that already have a scheduled event planned.

The African American Theatre Gallery tells the story of the African American’s range through theater programs from watershed plays like ‘’Your Arms Too Short To Box With God’’ and “Raisin in The Sun’’, posters from land mark films like ‘’Emperor Jones",’ and other artifacts collected by BSTC over the past two years. There are short biographies on stage legends from Paul Robeson to Josephine Baker alongside the sneakers David wore as ‘’Da Mayor’’ in Spike Lee’s Do The Right Thing."
