A group of ten diverse people gathered in a cozy room with blue walls and a large window. They are smiling and posing for a photo, some standing and others sitting at a table with a yellow tablecloth. The group appears friendly and happy.

Get Involved

Black Spectrum Theatre Company is always looking for passionate individuals interested in supporting the arts, community programming, youth development, and live cultural experiences. Whether through volunteering or internships, there are opportunities to learn, grow, and contribute to meaningful creative work within the community.

Become a Volunteer

Become part of the Black Spectrum Theatre family and help support meaningful arts and community programming throughout the year.

Our volunteers play an important role in assisting with live productions, summer camps, special events, youth programs, holiday events, and administrative support. Whether working behind the scenes or helping during community events, volunteers help bring each experience to life while gaining firsthand exposure to theatre and cultural programming.

Internship Opportunities

Black Spectrum Theatre Company offers internship opportunities for students and emerging creatives interested in theatre, film, arts administration, production, and community programming.

Interns work closely with the organization while gaining hands-on experience in various areas of the performing arts industry. Opportunities are available throughout the year, with limited summer and semester-based placements offered based on organizational needs and applicant interests.

While internships are unpaid, they may qualify for college credit and provide valuable professional experience within a creative and community-centered environment.
